Packing list

What should I bring with me to ProEd’s summer programmes?

  • Passport and visa documents
  • Travel insurance documents
  • Stationary for classes (pens, paper, calculator where necessary).
  • Personal toiletries (such as toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, soap, deodorant, and sunscreen)
  • Medications (if applicable) and a copy of the prescription
  • Spending money. As a guide we would recommend £15-20 per day.
  • Laptop – all students will need to bring a laptop or tablet with them. All students will have research to do as an integral part of their programme. For all computer science-related programmes, a laptop is essential. You cannot take part without a laptop. Please ensure to bring your laptop charger as well.
  • UK power adapter (if needed)
  • Water bottle
  • Portable umbrella
  • Backpack or bag for carrying items around campus
  • Phone – all students are required to bring a mobile phone with them. In the event of an emergency, a member of staff will call you as a first port of call. We can advise on purchasing a local sim card where required.
