Summary

The ProEd et al suite of online programmes allows students to benefit from the same extensive expertise offered by industry professionals on the residential courses, from the comfort of their home.

This 7-day Future Medic Online Programme is an interactive experience that gives students aged 13-18 a fully immersive insight into the life of a professional working in the medical industry.

Over the course of the week, you will explore a broad range of concepts including physiology and clinical medicine. With a focus on the gastrointestinal, respiratory, cardiovascular and neurological systems, you will explore how the body is meant to be working and what can go wrong. There will be valuable insights into the worlds of surgery and medical ethics. Additionally, this programme features a crash course in developing a competitive medical school application.

Develop your clinical skills in our daily ‘OSCE’ (Objective Structures Clinical Examinations) workshops.

UCAS and Medical School Preparation

Network with senior medical faculty members and surgeons.

Certificate and Tutor Report

Certificate of completion and tutor report provided to all students who complete the programme.

All nights on Imperial College campus. Standard Twin Ensuite Room shared with another ProEd pupil of same age and gender.

Optional upgrade to single room available. Can be added at point of booking.

A cooked breakfast and dinner is included all days.

Optional lunch vouchers can be booked for students attending all residential programmes. Can be added at point of booking.

On-campus cafes and restaurants are available. However, they only accept payment cards and do not accept cash.

Course relevant day in industry includes all travel expenses.

All excursions and a comprehensive evening social programme.

Provided by Endsleigh, this policy covers emergency medical assistance and medical costs, cancellation, loss, theft or damage to baggage and money.
