Dive into the intricacies of human behaviour and the mind in this 15-hour programme, available year-round and suitable for students aged 13-18. You’ll be mentored by an expert in psychology to develop your research skills and produce a publication-ready paper.

This programme includes 10 hours of one-on-one support and 5 hours of additional structured classes focused on research techniques and academic writing. You can submit your work to psychology-focused journals like Psychology Review. The final assessment could contribute towards your UCAS points.

Dr Prior is a Chartered Psychologist, Senior Lecturer, and Programme Director for the BSc Psychology Programme at Cardiff Metropolitan University. With over 12 years of experience, she focuses on enhancing student experiences and well-being. Her research includes family meals, adolescent well-being, and support services for eating disorders, as well as contributing to project the people with late-stage dementia.

Publishing Opportunities

Research projets can be submitted to relevant student-friendly journals (e.g. Journal of Emerging Investigators, Young Scientists Journal, Psychology Review, STEM Fellowship Journal etc.)

On-campus cafes and restaurants are available. However, they only accept payment cards and do not accept cash.

Course relevant day in industry includes all travel expenses.
