Summary

The Future Computer Scientist Summer programme has been designed by experts in the field to offer students an exciting, immersive, and technical insight into careers in computer science. Over a 2-week period, you will be introduced to the main concepts in computer science, learn the fundamentals, develop your technical skills, and discover the variety of career options in computer science.

The programme offers you the opportunity to delve into the world of AI, Machine learning, Quantum computing and more. You will take part in interactive workshops designed to develop your skills, seminars to pique your interest and reflection to help you best utilise your time on the programme.

Sessions will include guest speakers from Academia and Industry to showcase the wider applications of computer science research from institutions across the UK. You will find out more about studying computer science at university level, how to build your experience and work toward a career in computer science.

The programme also features a crash course in developing a competitive university application.

All nights on Imperial College campus. Standard Twin Ensuite Room shared with another ProEd pupil of same age and gender.

Optional upgrade to single room available. Can be added at point of booking.

A cooked breakfast and dinner is included all days.

Optional lunch vouchers can be booked for students attending all residential programmes. Can be added at point of booking.

On-campus cafes and restaurants are available. However, they only accept payment cards and do not accept cash.

Course relevant day in industry includes all travel expenses.

All excursions and a comprehensive evening social programme.
