July 2025 FAQ

help, information, question-1724292.jpg

During the programme you will stay at undergraduate student accommodation at Imperial College - Prince’s Gardens halls of residence in South Kensington - located in the heart of London. This will allow you to experience what it is like to live away from home during your first year of university. You will be only a short walk from classes and a range of other campus facilities.

By default, accommodation will be in a twin room, with students sharing a room with another student of the same gender and age group. However, students can request a single ensuite room in advance. The cost for guaranteed single occupancy is £65 per night.

The accommodation is located within 20 miles of London Heathrow Airport and has excellent transport links. Most students usually fly into London Heathrow or Gatwick airports, but we recommend London Heathrow where possible.

The address is: Prince's Gardens, Watts Way, South Kensington, London, SW7 1BA

For your convenience, we can arrange an airport transfer service. There will be an additional cost of £150 each way. Airport transfers are exclusively provided to students who have made prior reservations for this service through us.

2-Week Residential Programme:

  • Our team members will be available on-site starting at 9:00 AM. Prior to this time, access to the facilities will not be available.
  • Students will not be granted access to their rooms until after 15:00 on Monday (Arrival Date).

  • Students need to vacate their room by 8:00 AM on Saturday (Departure Date). They can store their luggage for the day, if necessary.

We like to run friendly and relaxed courses. However, there are certain rules in place. Ultimately breaking these rules may result in you being sent home without refund, where possible you will be allowed to continue with the course on a non-residential basis.

You can access the full course rules list by following this link.

If you are not a British/Irish national or do not already hold an immigration status that permits study, you will need a Standard Visitor Visa or an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) depending on your nationality. Check the UK Gov website to confirm which option applies to you.

If you require a visa, we will issue an official acceptance letter that you can use to apply for your visa or at the border if required. Please note that we cannot be held responsible if your visa application is rejected or if you apply too late to have it arrive in time. In such cases, the standard cancellation policy will apply. All students must comply with the UK immigration requirements.

Breakfast and dinner are included in the package. Lunch is not included in the package. Students purchase their lunch from the cafes and restaurants available on campus. Optional lunch vouchers are available for students attending all residential programmes. If you choose not to purchase lunch vouchers, please note that on-campus cafes and restaurants are available. However, they only accept payment cards and do not accept cash.

The laundry room is available at the accommodation for washing clothes. Laundry credits can be purchased through a mobile app.

Wi-Fi is available for students free of charge.

During our two-week Residential Summer Programmes, we include non-academic activities in the evenings and on weekends.

We are an ‘internship’ or ‘work experience’ simulation provider. Our courses blend immersive workshops with industry professionals, lectures, and opportunities to network with professionals from industry. We work closely with several partners from a wide variety of industries to provide a ‘real world’ insight into your chosen career.
