Then join us for a unique opportunity to witness a live surgery experience with Mr Nunoo-Mensah, a highly experienced NHS Surgeon based at King’s College NHS Hospital since 2008.
During this live surgery experience, Mr Nunoo-Mensah will take you through the pre-operative process and provide a live Q&A throughout the surgery. You will get a chance to meet the scrub nurse, anaesthetist, and Mr Nunoo-Mensah, gaining an insight into the different roles in the surgical team. You will also be able to ask questions and receive real-time answers from Mr Nunoo- Mensah himself, allowing you to gain a deeper understanding of the surgical techniques used and the patient’s condition and treatment plan.
This experience is perfect for anyone interested in medicine or surgery, whether you are a medical student or simply a curious member of the public. The duration of the experience is 2.5 hours, providing ample time to learn and explore. The live surgery experience will take place on Zoom, providing a comfortable and convenient way to participate. You can join from anywhere in the world, all you need is an internet connection. Mr Nunoo-Mensah is a highly experienced surgeon who specialises in colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, and pelvic floor disorders. He has completed advanced training in laparoscopic and robotic surgery, and he is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
