Galactic Challenge 6th July 2019 Winners Update

The Winners of yesterdays Queen Elizabeth’s School, Barnet, Galactic Challenge were Dame Alice Owen’s School and The Charter School, North Dulwich. Congratulations!
The winning company was Astrodyne Delta. It was a really tough competition with so many great ideas from all the schools, including settlements made out of recycled materials; rearing rabbits on the moon; and earth rise viewing platforms. Galactic Challenge Queen Elizabeth’s School, Barnet


Today for the Galactic Challenge competition goers will jump forward to 6th July 2069, where preparations are well underway for the centenary of the Apollo 11 landing. Students will produce designs for Armstrong, the first holiday resort on the Moon, named in honour of the first person to step onto its surface one hundred years ago.
